Benjamin Van Roy awarded the INFORMS 2022 Lanchester Prize
This prize is awarded for the best contribution to operations research and the management sciences published in English.
Please join us in congratulating Professor Benjamin Van Roy on winning the Lanchester Prize from the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS).
This prize is awarded annually for the best contribution (in a paper, book, or group of papers or books) to the field of operations research and the management sciences published in English. Ben is awarded for his sequence of works compiled in “Learning to Optimize Via Posterior Sampling” which provide fundamental contributions to the area of online statistical learning and optimization.
The award will be presented at the 2022 Annual INFORMS Meeting in October.
