Eligibility
To apply through the Grad Auth process, applicants to our department must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Stanford PhD program in a related field (e.g., engineering, physical sciences, or mathematics).
- Applicants must have completed a minimum of two (2) full-time quarters (excluding summer) of technical coursework at Stanford before applying to the EE-MS program. For example, if you entered Stanford in autumn quarter, the earliest term for which you can apply is spring quarter of that academic year.
Stanford students enrolled in a master's program outside the department must apply through the annual general admissions process in order to add or transfer to the EE-MS program. They are not eligible to apply via the Grad Auth.
