Congratulations to Professor Mary Wootters who was awarded the James L. Massey Research & Teaching Award for Young Scholars. This award was presented to her at the International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT 2022). The James L. Massey award recognizes outstanding achievement in research and teaching by young scholars in the Information Theory community.  

Mary’s research broadly includes theoretical computer science and theoretical aspects of engineering, especially concerning communication, storage, and data processing.
