What I Do

I support EE's incoming and current MS and PhD students.

Origins

I was born in Fresno, California before leaving one valley to the next as my family moved back to the Bay Area. Since then I have lived mostly in the Bay Area, with a brief stint in New York City. As what I like to call a "proper gemini," my past job experiences cover a wide range! Most recently, I was working on the admissions team for an independent grade school in San Francisco, but I've also dabbled in... private math tutoring, food truck catering, event production, and working for a nonprofit. I was excited to bring these different experiences to the wonderful team environment at EE.

My EExperience

I am grateful to have been brought in to a department that is focused on building a positive community and collaborative environment. No matter what the project, I know I can rely on my colleagues (especially my E2S2 team!) and am glad for the opportunity to support others in the department as well.

Outside of Work

Currently, much of my free time is spent supporting the production of an independent documentary film, set to release in 2027. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me wandering around the beautiful city of San Francisco, which I've been lucky to call home since 2023.

Favorite Spot

On campus, I often enjoy finding a bench in the SEQ, ideally in the sun. Off campus, I'm biased to say my neighbourhood of Parkside, SF, where I'm usually (depending on the fog) greeted by the view of the ocean when I come home from work.
