Origins
I’m originally from Southern California and currently live in San Jose, CA. Before joining the EE Department, I worked at the School of Medicine. I earned my degree in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University. While the Bay Area has its charm, Southern California will always have my heart.
My EExperience
Working in the EE Department, I’ve gained not only great colleagues but also amazing friends. This position has taught me that there’s often more than one way to approach a challenge. Having the support to make the role my own has been incredibly rewarding and has contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth.
Outside of Work
I love spending time with my family, watching sports, traveling, enjoying all things Disney, and listening to music. As a true L.A. girl at heart, I proudly cheer for the L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Rams, and the Anaheim Ducks. My husband, on the other hand, roots for his selected Bay Area teams—so when L.A. plays the Bay, our house is definitely a house divided, haha! I'm also a huge Disney fan and try to visit as often as I can. Music is something that truly soothes my soul, and my all-time favorite artist is Michael Jackson.
Favorite Spot
My favorite spot on campus is attending Stanford football or softball games. Off campus, I love spending time at the beach or visiting Disneyland, two places that never fail to make me happy.
