Meo Kittiwanich, Director of Student and Academic Services
Hi there!
I was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and grew up in sunny Southern California. I’m currently the Director of Student and Academic Services in the Electrical Engineering Department, where I’ve been fortunate to work for over ten years. During my time here, I’ve held a few different roles, including Academic Affairs and Programs Administrator (AAPA) and the Degree Progress Officer. I genuinely enjoy being a part of the EE Department—the community is warm and welcoming, and I truly appreciate getting to know our students, faculty, and staff. I especially enjoy working with the EE administrative staff and the EE student services team; we’re a collaborative group that’s committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
Outside of work, I love spending my free time traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, dancing, and—when I need to recharge—taking a good, long nap. I’m always in the mood for salty, tangy, and spicy food and I can never resist a good milk tea! I recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise that started in Barcelona and ended in Rome. Some of my favorite moments were exploring La Pedrera - Casa Milà in Barcelona and visiting Monterosso al Mare in Cinque Terre. Closer to home, I enjoy going crabbing at Half Moon Bay and spending time along the coast.
If you're ever in the EE administrative suite, come say hi—and feel free to bring some snackies while you're at it!
