H.-S. Philip Wong elected to the National Academy of Engineering
In recognition of contributions to nanoscale semiconductor device technology
H.-S. Philip Wong is the Willard R. and Inez Kerr Bell Professor and a professor of electrical engineering in the School of Engineering. Wong was elected to the academy for “contributions to nanoscale semiconductor device technology.” He is also a member of Bio-X and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, and an affiliate of the Precourt Institute for Energy.
Election to the National Academy of Engineering is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer. Academy membership honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education. Members are also recognized for pioneering new and developing fields of technology, making major advancements in traditional fields of engineering, or developing and implementing innovative approaches to engineering education.
