Congratulations to Professor Gordon Wetzstein on receiving the IEEE Visualization and Graphical Technical Community (VGTC) Virtual Reality Technical Achievement Award. Gordon has also been inducted into the IEEE VGTC Virtual Reality Academy.

The IEEE VGTC Virtual Reality Awards recognize and honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the community through their research and/or service. The Technical Achievement Award is given each year to recognize an individual for a seminal technical achievement in the field. Gordon's citation reads, 'in recognition of his pioneering research in the development of computational display and imaging devices.’
