In this seminar, Yi Cui and Brian Bartholomeusz will discuss the history and future of energy innovation at Stanford.
 

Yi Cui is Director of the Precourt Institute for Energy, Fortinet Founders Professor of Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, of Energy Science and Engineering, of Photon Science, a Senior Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment, and Professor, by courtesy, of Chemistry. He studies fundamentals and applications of nanomaterials and develops tools for their understanding.

Brian Bartholomeusz is Executive Director of Innovation Transfer at the TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy. In this position, he assists in the commercialization of energy-related technology inventions and innovations resulting from research at Stanford. Brian earned a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Stanford, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Cambridge University.
