The Bechtel International Center's Office of Global Scholarships empowers students to pursue educational, experiential and research opportunities abroad. We help undergraduates and graduate students, and recent alumni match their interests to global scholarships opportunities, and support them through the application and interview process. We also administer the campus competition for a number of prestigious overseas scholarships; including Fulbright, DAAD, Gilman, various awards to the UK and many more.

The deadlines for these awards are in the fall, but the application process starts much sooner than that and careful planning is crucial. Therefore, we are offering general global scholarship information sessions this quarter to help you explore and decide if any of these scholarships may be of interest to you.

Attending an information session is one of the first vital steps. These sessions will provide a clear sense of the purpose of the awards, the qualities that successful students bring to their application and an overview of the application process. After the info sessions you can sign up for individual advising and workshops that focus on developing a strong application.
