Talk Abstract: CHIMERA technology has reached a new level with the CHIMERA 180°, the last generation of digital holographic printing system. This holoprinter is based on three low-power, continuous, red, green, blue (RGB) lasers combined with the silver-halide material Ultimate U04 and can print full-color and black-and-white digital holograms with a hogel resolution of 250 μm, a size of up to 60×80cm and a speed of 60 Hz. Combined with a 3D scanner designed in-house, this CHIMERA 180° printer generates ultra-realistic digital holograms with a 180° full-parallax, being a Denisyuk-like printer.

Speaker Biography: Philippe Gentet is an award-winning holography expert with over 30 years of experience in the field. He is currently a visiting professor at Kwangwoon University in South Korea. Specializing in ultra-realistic analog and digital full-color display holography, he contributed to the development of Ultimate, an ultra-fine isopanchromatic silver-halide holographic emulsion, and CHIMERA, the latest generation of digital holographic printing system. His current research interests include the use of artificial intelligence in display holography, the development of snapshot holographic portrait studios, and the creation of animated holographic devices.
