Guest speaker Simon D. Kim, CEO & Co-founder of Glassdome, talk with US-ATMC Director Dr. Richard Dasher to discuss trends in manufacturing software, the movement toward Net Zero, and his experience running a company with roots in Silicon Valley and Korea.

An experienced founder, engineer, and executive, Simon helps set Glassdome’s overall direction and leads Glassdome’s product development and Korean business units. Simon founded Glassdome together with his high school and college classmate Josh Charnin-Aker. His startup leadership experience, technical expertise, and network in Korean and American business are a cornerstone of the company’s growth.

Before Glassdome, Simon was a Founding Member and Head of Software at Awair, an air quality IoT company. He helped grow the company from zero lines of code to Series B, helping to serve tens of thousands of customers as well as enterprises like Airbnb, Hyatt, and SGS.

Simon holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he was the President of ASES Stanford, one of the largest student entrepreneurship organizations in Stanford.
