As Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, Brian Deese led implementation of President Obama's historic efforts to address climate change, from implementing domestic regulations to securing an international climate agreement in Paris, an amendment to the Montreal Protocol to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and a global market-based measure to reduce emissions from international aviation.
