Abstract / Description: 

This year, Keizai honors former U.S. Ambassador to Japan John Roos, Founding Partner of Geodesic Capital, with the Keizai Silicon Valley Outstanding Impact Award for US-Japan Business.

After receiving the Award, Ambassador Roos will participate in a fireside chat with Professor Richard Dasher. The program also includes the traditional Kagamiwari (sake barrel "breaking") ceremony. Honorable Tomochika Uyama, Consul General of Japan in San Francisco, is expected to lead this tradition.
