Abstract / Description: 

The Stanford Compression Forum (SCF) is a group of researchers, engineers and entrepreneurs from academia and industry working to advance the theory and practice of data compression.

The 2016 annual meeting will be a 2-day event sponsored by the Center for Science of Information.

The first day will be dedicated to new directions in the science of information at large, while the second day will be focused on data compression.

The meeting is open to anyone interested. Students, post-doctoral resaerchers, and faculty are encouraged to REGISTER and attend.
