Suzie Bruch
Abstract / Description:

Having attended Caltech for undergrad, Dr. Suzie Bruch has a special appreciation for engineering and engineers. Ultimately she chose a career in medicine, spending years in emergency and crisis psychiatry, addressing psychiatric conditions in the medically ill, and treating individuals with severe mental illness before coming to Stanford. As a psychiatrist at CAPS, she enjoys working with our bright and interesting students and learning about life on-campus. She has participated in CAPS long-range planning committee and the Mental Health and Well-Being Task Force and has particularly enjoyed teaching psychiatry and psychology trainees. Outside of work, she finds joy in nature, animals, exercise, food, sports, and friendly competition.
