Retired after 20+ years at Stanford

A party given by the EE Department at the Faculty club on September 21, 2012 for faculty, staff, students and friends and alumni. He was presented with a plaque in recognition for his 20+ years of his visionary contribution to cellular technology, his devotion to the education and mentoring of his students, his friendship and generosity of spirit towards his colleagues , and his dedication to research and teaching. He will be dearly missed.
