Skip the Lines! Upload Your Stanford ID Photo
Year after year, incoming graduate students flood the Student Services Center as they wait in long lines to take their photo for the Stanford ID card. To save time and avoid the hassle, upload your photo online before you arrive on campus.

✓ International students: Request your I-20/DS-2019 as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
✓ Check your "To-Do" list in Axess throughout the summer for any documents that are missing from your student record. Any questions about To Do List items should be directed to the central Graduate Admissions Office (firstname.lastname@example.org).
✓ Graduating students: After you graduate from your current program, arrange to have your final official transcript (paper or electronic) sent to the central Graduate Admissions Office:
Graduate Admissions Office
Office of the University Registrar
482 Galvez Mall, Suite 120
Stanford, CA 94305-6032
This transcript must include proof of degree conferral in order to satisfy any transcript item that appears on your Axess To Do List. You do NOT need to submit your final transcript to the EE department. If you already sent your transcript to the department, it will be forwarded to the central office so you do not need to re-send it.
✓ Did you receive external scholarships or fellowships for your graduate studies at Stanford? Please remember that you must send a copy of the award letter outlining the terms of your award to email@example.com. You may be eligible to receive Stanford's health insurance subsidy if you are receiving outside funding.
✓ Upload a photo for your Stanford ID card by August 29 at accessories.stanford.edu/sc/photo/submission.
✓ If you do not wish to enroll in Cardinal Care, the default student health insurance option for all full-time Stanford students, you will need to waive this option by Monday, August 15 (international students) or Thursday, September 15 (domestic students). Specific eligibility requirements apply for students who wish to waive Cardinal Care. For more information, see http://vaden.stanford.edu/Choosing-Your-Insurance.
