This award is given to the outstanding design project in one of the capstone design courses – a hallmark of our undergraduate program. Capstone courses bring together many aspects of the curriculum and also give the students a chance to innovate in creative new ways.

John Kustin, EE272B. His project was  "A Open-Source Bandgap Voltage Reference Circuit in SkyWater 130 nm Technology” and Ryan Wixen, EE264W. His project was "Tree-Structured Quadrature Mirror Filterbank."

The School of Engineering's Centennial TA Award is given to students to recognize their outstanding contributions to teaching. The 2022 Centennial Teaching Assistant Award goes to Elizabeth Chen and Tara Yasmin Mina, in recognition of their outstanding service and dedication in providing excellent classroom instruction. Congratulations!

The School of Engineering's Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Graduation Award recognizes the exceptional work done by graduating graduate students in outreach and mentorship for underserved and underrepresented communities with the goal of improving the accessibility of STEMM. This includes the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine. Winners of this award have demonstrated a commitment to justice, equity, diversity & inclusion work and have positively impacted the communities they served.

The 2022 JEDI Graduation Award recipient is Francisco Romero. 

The James F. Gibbons Award for Outstanding Student Teaching highlights students who have been nominated by faculty and peers for their extraordinary service as teaching assistants. Thank you for your tremendous work in our department – Siavash Kananian, Ajay Singhvi, and Kevin Curt Oran.

The 2022 winners of the Chair’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education is Joseph Little, John DeSilva and Thomas Carlson. 

As EE’s IT Systems & Network Support staff, Joe, John and Thomas provide support to our undergraduates in numerous ways. They also support every single one of our graduate students, faculty, and staff from the beginning to the end of their Stanford EE journey.

Joe, John, and Thomas' expertise is highly valued and sought out for everything from creating complex, secure, and innovative research networks to replacing microphone batteries! Their extraordinary support is appreciated throughout the EE department.
