This award is given to the outstanding design project in one of the capstone design courses – a hallmark of our undergraduate program. Capstone courses bring together many aspects of the curriculum and also give the students a chance to innovate in creative new ways. 

Congratulations to our 2022 awardees:
John Kustin, EE272B. His project was  "A Open-Source Bandgap Voltage Reference Circuit in SkyWater 130 nm Technology” and Ryan Wixen, EE264W. His project was "Tree-Structured Quadrature Mirror Filterbank."

Distinguished BS graduates

Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction

In recognition of high scholastic attainment, the University awards the Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction. Distinction is awarded to the top 15% of the graduating class based on cumulative grade point averages calculated at the end of Winter Quarter. Distinction is noted on both the transcript and diploma.
