Ell, "Properties of the electron-hole plasma in GaAs/GaAlAs multiple quantum wells," Proceedings of the 19th International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors, ed. W. Zawadski (Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, 1988) 1, 449-452, (1988).

We investigate quasi 2D MQW structures under quasi stationary excitation conditions. We observe renormalisations of the fundamental and higher subbands due to the occupation of the nsubz=1 gap shrinkage at different lattice temperatures as function of the e-h-plasma density. A comparison with a pure 2D theory together with effective exciton parameters yields good agreement up to plasma densities of ~= 1.4 * 10^12 cm^-2
