Hi! I work as mentor for SCPD students in Electrical
Engineering. If you are a distance student and you have general questions about
classes and programs in electrical engineering, or if you need advice on what
courses to take, please contact me.

Read the
following first if you have questions about MSEE admissions
I receive a number of inquiries about admission to part-time
Honors Co-Op (HCP) MSEE at distance through SCPD. There is a common
misconception that admission to HCP MSEE is different than full-time MS. This
is NOT true. Full-time and part-time (HCP) graduate admission applications go
through same criterion. Please read EE department
admissions webpage and HCP webpage for
details. It is also important to note that HCP program is
only open to professionals working in member
companies. If your company is not a member, SCPD
Customer Relations would be happy to discuss membership
procedure with interested prospective students and companies. Please feel
free to contact me if you still have questions.
NDO and Certificate
programs are generally available to professionals working in member companies,
however individuals are encouraged to contact SCPD Customer Relations (SCPDCustomerRelations@stanford.edu)
to determine their eligibility for the NDO/Certificate
program.

- EE Grad Handbook details EE department policies. Distance students should especially read sections on Non Degree Option (NDO), Honor Coop program (HCP) and MS degree.
- Got SUNetID? You need it before you can be a Stanford student.
- Sweet consulting webpage Sweet consultants help you with all issues related to Leland computer accounts. You must set up your computer account before taking any of EE classes.
- ASSU course guide and Tau Beta Pi course guide Read student reviews on different courses. You need SUNetID to read reviews. These guides contain feedback on time commitment, difficulty level, teaching quality and usefulness.
- Stanford Student Home Page Even NDO students can find some useful resources on this page. This page is actually meant for on-campus students.

- Faculty/TA guideline This document has important information regarding presentation requirements, delivery of course material, review session scheduling and other SCPD logistics.
- Review/Problem session room & time setup request Contact Brian Murakami, SCPD Broadcast Coordinator, bmura@stanford.edu 723-7807/725-3414 to schedule your weekly and exam review/problem sessions. In order to get a suitable time slot, TAs are encouraged to setup the schedule for whole quarter within first two weeks of classes.
