Currently, REU 2014 applications are in review. Several questions have been added to the REU FAQ page, including details about the matching process and how students are placed on projects. Offer letters are projects to be sent by mid-March 2014.

Two new projects have been added to the REU student application for a total of 40 projects to choose from! The project descriptions for 2014 can be viewed by going to the handouts section. May 9, 2013: EE REU 2013 Updates
As the program draws near, notifications will be sent to all REU faculty, REU graduate mentors, and REU Interns. Currently, the EE Dept. is coordinating all workshops and events for the Summer. Once the events are confirmed, a schedule of all the seminars/events will be sent out. April 15, 2013: EE REU 2013 Offer Letters
Students that have received offer letters must reply-all to their offer letter emails by 4/15/13. In addition, all students must submit the "REU Consent Form" that is attached to their offer letter and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off in Packard 163.
January 30, 2013: EE REU Program 2013
Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program for Summer 2013.
REU is Stanford's EE department's 10-week Summer internship program, which includes a stipend and the option of on-campus housing for program participants.
Sign-ups for the 2013 REU Summer program will begin in early-mid February. Please note that Stanford internally funds the REU program and as such, it is open to Electrical Engineering Stanford students only. If you are not a Stanford student, please refer to Stanford's Undergraduate Academic Life Office at http://www.stanford.edu/dept/undergrad/cgi-bin/drupal_ual/NBY_Summer.html for additional research opportunities.

June 19, 2011: Packard Computer Clusters
As an REU intern, you are eligible to use the computer cluster in Packard 128 if you require access to a computer. Many of you will be given a computer and workspace by your Graduate Project Mentors and you should speak with them regarding this either before or during the first week of the REU Program. However, if you need to use a computer in the Packard 128 computer cluster, please email Meo so that she may provide you with an access account.
June 19, 2011: Welcome to REU 2012
REU begins in less than a week! The program dates this year are: June 25, 2012 to August 31, 2012. The will kick off the program with first of our seminar seies on Tuesday, June 26. Professor Ada Poon will be discussing the emergence of wireless applications in biomedicine. (See Seminar Series section for details.) The program will conclude on Friday, August 31 with our much-anticipated Presentation Day, which includes an oral session and a poster presentation to display and celebrate your research efforts.
