The application fee is US $125. Establish a user account (as instructed on-line) and enter a credit card payment (Visa or Mastercard) or pay by check electronically via a U.S. bank account.

When your electronic application has been submitted, Stanford University will notify you via your user account. You will not receive a confirmation from the Electrical Engineering Department.

See the EE Graduate Admissions Website for more information: ee-admissions.stanford.edu

The review of applications is done entirely online. The central Office of Graduate Admissions no longer provides paper applications to applicants for any reason.'

Financial Assistance

The department annually awards a limited number of fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships to incoming graduate students. To be considered for department assistance as an entering student, applicants must indicate their funding preference in the online application. With the exception of applying for student loans, it is not necessary to submit a financial aid application. Notification regarding most types of financial assistance is sent to recipients in March. Because not all entering EE students secure funding as they begin their graduate studies at Stanford, prospective students are encouraged to apply for outside sources of funding.
