Professors Howe, Murmann and Rivas-Davila advise three of the winning teams. Each team is developing clean energy technology that they intend to move from lab invention to commercialized technology.
The award recognizes Mitra’s research related to Quick Error Detection (QED) technology that overcomes post-silicon validation and debug challenges.

Alumni Himanshu Asnani, PhD, is passionate about Electrical Engineering. Fascinated by physics in high school, he began developing his expertise in communication systems, and eventually chose it as his doctoral research area. In addition to completion of his PhD, Himanshu also received the Marconi Society Young Scholars Award in 2014.
